My photography journey kicked off in 2000 when I first picked up my dad’s camera. That curiosity turned into a full-blown obsession. By 2006, I was knee-deep in photography classes and working toward a BFA in Graphic Design. After moving back to the Hill Country in 2014, what started as a side hustle quickly took off. In 2018, I made it officially official and launched Gabe Rene LLC—where I now get to do what I effing love every day.
With a deep background in graphic design and over two decades of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (yep, I speak fluent Photoshop), I bring a unique, editorial-meets-commercial style to every shoot. But here’s the thing: we’re not just photographers anymore. Gabe Rene LLC has evolved into a full-on creative studio. From cinematic wedding films and storytelling-driven commercials to strategic web design and killer branding, we’re here to help you show up big in whatever space you’re in.
Photography is still my first love, and I’m lucky AF to share that passion with my life partner, Kyle. He’s not just my second shooter—he’s the style director, vibe checker, and detail wrangler who helps make every frame hit harder. A proud Hill Country native and Navy veteran, Kyle stepped up during those crazy wedding seasons and never looked back. Together, we’re a creative force built on trust, hustle, and a love for storytelling that sticks.
While we’re based in the Texas Hill Country, we’re always down to travel. Our work has taken us all over—from the moody forests of New England to the golden coasts of Southern California, from the desert vibes of Big Bend and Terlingua to weddings in Mexico and beyond.
